Hanuman Jayanti

April 12 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Significance and History
Hanuman Jayanti celebrates the birth of Lord Hanuman, a devoted follower of Lord Rama and a symbol of strength, devotion, and humility. It is observed on the Purnima (full moon day) of the Hindu month Chaitra, usually in March or April. Lord Hanuman, also known as the Monkey God, is considered an incarnation of Lord Shiva and is revered for his selfless service, unwavering loyalty, and extraordinary powers.

According to Hindu mythology, Lord Hanuman was born to Anjana and Kesari, with blessings from the Wind God (Vayu). His life is deeply intertwined with the epic Ramayana, where he played a crucial role in the rescue of Sita and the defeat of Ravana. This day is a reminder of Lord Hanuman’s virtues and the power of devotion and faith in overcoming challenges.
